The last Tuesday we went to London to attend The Sleeping Beauty at the Royal Opera House (amazing performance, btw!). We arrived early and we had a few spare hours before the beginning of the ballet, so we walked.

Martedì scorso siamo stati a Londra per vedere La Bella Addormentata alla Royal Opera House (meraviglioso spettacolo, peraltro!). Essendo arrivati presto, avevamo qualche ora libera prima del balletto, così abbiamo passeggiato.
Kensington Garden and Hyde Park are always fascinating and peaceful. In the warm and sunny afternoon we found, they were the place you feel you'd like to be forever, sitting on an outdoor table at the Lido Cafè, just in front of the small lake.

Sempre affascinanti i Kensington Garden e Hyde Park. Nel tepore luminoso di martedì pomeriggio, erano il luogo in cui pensi di poter rimanere per sempre, seduto a un tavolino nel dehors del Lido Caffè, proprio di fronte al laghetto.
From streets to mews, London always discloses posh buildings and fascinating, hidden corners, a little aside the main touristic paths. But one of my favourite spots is still crowded Chinatown.

Tra strade e vicoli, Londra rivela sempre edifici di incredibile eleganza e angolini affascinanti e nascosti a pochi passi dai principali percorsi turistici. Anche se uno dei miei luoghi preferiti rimane sempre la superaffollata Chinatown.
I've already praised the Royal Opera House. This time we've discovered the incredible terrace overlooking the Covent Garden covered market and London roofs. So much more than a show is offered with the ticket.

Ho già ampiamente lodato la Royal Opera House. Questa volta abbiamo scoperto anche l'incredibile terrazza affacciata sul mercato coperto di Covent Garden e sui tetti di Londra. Così tanto di più del solo spettacolo è offerto nel biglietto.
