Craving for zucchini flowers

If there's one thing I really miss from Italy, speaking of food, is the variety of fruit and vegetables we have, even in supermarkets. And this time of the year I crave for zucchini flowers, unfortunately completely absent from local supermarket shelves. In the hope I will found them somewhere - after all, if they grow zucchini, there must be flowers at some point - I leave you a yummy, summery and veggie recipe I tried last year while I still was in Milan and could have all the zucchini flowers I wanted. Few ingredients, quick and easy. For dummies, really.

Se c'è una cosa che davvero mi manca dell'Italia, parlando di cibo, è la varietà di frutta e verdura che abbiamo, anche nei supermercati (ah, come vorrei avere qui l'Esselunga di via Feltre!). E in questo periodo dell'anno avrei tanta tanta voglia di fiori di zucca che, naturalmente, sono completamente assenti sugli scaffali dei supermercati locali. Nella speranza di trovarli da qualche parte - dopotutto, se coltivano le zucchine, avranno anche i fiori a un certo punto - vi lascio con una ricettina golosa, estiva e vegetariana che ho provato l'anno scorso, quando ancora stavo a Milano e potevo avere tutti i fiori di zucca che volevo. Pochi ingredienti, facile e veloce, a prova di negati della cucina.
