Discovering UK: an outing to Cotswolds

The Cotswolds were something we missed last summer (btw, you can read about our August trip here, here and here). Not enough time to go everywhere we would have liked to. Therefore we saved them for a weekend outing which is what we did last week.

I Cotswolds ce li siamo un po' persi l'estate scorsa (a proposito, potete leggere delle nostre ferie d'Agosto e dei posti che abbiamo visitato qui, qui e qui). Il tempo non è mai abbastanza, quindi vedere tutto quello che avremmo voluto non era possibile. Così, li abbiamo rimandati e finalmente, due weekend fa, ci siamo andati.

Discovering UK: a day in Brecon Beacon

The last August, MyFairEngineer and I spent two weeks travelling around in the Southern UK. Routard and camera in my bag, a rented car and a UK map, we decided where to go to on the spur of the moment, improvising according to the weather, the book guide, the map and our inspiration. That's how we got into Breacon Beacon.

Ad agosto, con l'Ingegnere abbiamo passato due settimane in giro, a perlustrare il Sud del Regno Unito. Routard e macchina fotografica in borsa, un'auto a noleggio e una mappa stradale, decidevamo dove andare praticamente sul momento, improvvisando in base al meteo, ai consigli della guida, alla mappa e alla nostra ispirazione. È così che siamo finiti nel Breacon Beacon National Park.
